The Blue Ringers are a regional cover band that was established in November of 2000. They began pretty bare bones as a four piece band: Drums, Bass, Guitar, and Female Vocal/Fiddle. All originating members of The Blue Ringers had played in various bands in the past, but this was the first time all four were in a band together. The band began seeking out slightly obscure cover tunes and began adding more popular crowd favorites to round out their sets. The Blue Ringers performed for the first time opening for Ill Gotten Booty at Hooligans in Mankato, MN. From there they began playing their own shows all over Minnesota focusing mainly on the southern region of the state.
The Blue Ringers became a five piece in February of 2009. This has allowed them to have more dimension with male and female lead vocals, vocal harmonies, richer guitar with rhythm and lead players, and more overall versatility.
The band can be seen during the summer outside at many street dances, and fireman's dances. They play many bars throughout southern Minnesota all year long, and always guarantee a professional and lively show.
